A strategic planner trapped in a creative thinker’s body. I’m passionate about using my experiences to create meaningful connections within the AI, machine learning and open source community. Specifically, I uncover ways to authentically connect with and empower AI developers. My goal: to collaborate on tools, solutions and products. With more than 25 years of journalism, public relations and marketing experience, I help make complex technology understandable and accessible to the broader developer community. By bridging the gap between AI advancements and the developer community, I leverage creativity, initiative, and strategic thinking to drive engagement and foster collaboration. In addition, my 20 years serving in the Army National Guard give me the tenacity and drive to see each project through to success. This includes large and small developer-focused campaigns, creative media on developer channels like Reddit and Stack Overflow, industry conferences like CVPR and NeurIPs, AI and computer vision workshops, and networking meetups. Character is the foundation to everything I do personally and professionally. We can all learn new skills, but integrity, dependability and compassion are lifelong values worth splicing into our DNA.
As an AI Developer Marketing Manager, I create programs that resonate with developers, ranging from code-focused content to in-person community events. My work centers on building trust and increasing adoption of Intel tools among AI and machine learning developers. Highlights: >Piloted developer marketing activations that grew developer engagement 3× QoQ >Managed developer event series with 35 live events in 10 cities - meetups often surpassed 500 attendees >Led a GitHub ad series that routinely placed in the top 5 for traffic to target models >Partnered cross-functionally across product, content, and technical evangelism teams
