The Balestrieri Family Farm is a dream come true for us. Kevin’s family has a history of wine making and olive oil pressing dating back to his great-grandfather. There have been many stories shared of this family art of wine making in the North Beach neighborhood in San Francisco. We know that the Italians not only enjoy drinking good wine, but also making it. Amber’s childhood memories are made up of the years she spent living on her grandparents’ almond orchard in Northern California. These are fond memories spending hours roaming the land with her brothers and cousins and learning the challenges of being a farmer. The reality is, farming is hard work, but there is nothing more rewarding than the taste of fresh picked fruit from the land. We knew we wanted to find a piece of land that we could raise our family on and share with others. We wanted to embrace the art of wine making shared by the Balestrieri family and learn how to press that perfect bottle of olive oil. We wanted the chance to let our kids, family, and friends play in the dirt and explore the outdoors from sunup to sundown. We wanted to take a risk that we knew we would never regret. We are excited to introduce you to our farm and to the many adventures that await. With 15 acres of vines and 5 acres of olives, we are just getting started. We hope you will come visit us and take part in this exciting journey. The fun has only just begun.
