My diverse operations leadership experiences have given me a broad perspective of how an organization can achieve success. Those experiences, coupled with a passion for empowering team members drive me to make an impact each and every day. I am data driven and use facts and logic to drive decision making. I value time spent analyzing KPIs, P&Ls and financial statements, and process or supply chain data. At the same time, I recognize the importance of speed in decision making and fight against paralysis by analysis. I understand risk and differentiate between times it is best to fail fast and situations where being wrong has significant consequences. I believe that organizational success can only be achieved with strong and aligned teams. I am passionate about mentoring and coaching those on my team or in the broader organization. I set high expectations for my team, provide support and coaching, but most importantly empower them to solve problems and to own their span of control. As a leader, I view my responsibility as setting an expectation, empowering others to manage against those expectations, measuring how the team performs, and to drive accountability for that performance. My experiences have given me strong insight into how a strong operations and supply chain organization can contribute to the success of a company. In various manufacturing leadership roles, I've deployed operating systems and operational excellence, implemented 5S, driven lean principals, used Six Sigma to solve problems, executed Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and engaged in root cause failure analysis to identify and implement system improvements. In supply chain leadership roles, I became better connected to the customer experience. I balanced cost, inventory and service and learned the importance trade offs.
