Responsibilities of this role include brainstorming cost savings ideas, implementing design and material changes, and verifying the design change does not lose bench-marked performance. In this role, I help optimize individual power tool components for performance, manufacturability, and savings.
Manufacturing engineer intern working specifically on rotor and stator manufacturing processes. I also do performance tests on Harley-Davidson's charging systems to decrease field returns as well as testing prototypes.
