Dr. Kim is a 3rd generation acupuncturist learning from his father and grandfather as well as his formal education. Dr. Kim's grandfather was the acupuncturist of President Chung Hee Park, the 3rd president of South Korea, the president's family, as well as the head of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, Jae-gyn Kim. Dr. Kim's father, Jin Soo Kim, graduated from Kyung Hee University in Oriental Medicine and is still practicing in Busan, South Korea.
