I’m an ophthalmologist, glaucoma specialist, and researcher with a passion for advancing eye care, medtech, and innovation. I currently serve as the Medical Director at Genève Ophtalmologie in Switzerland, where I focus on providing top-quality care while pushing the boundaries of glaucoma research. My journey has taken me across multiple countries, from my time as a Honorary Fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London to serving as a Visiting Instructor at Stanford University in the U.S. I’ve had the privilege of training at institutions like Newcastle (MBBS), Lausanne (MD), Kingston (PhD), and Harvard (PgCert) and was honored to be ranked among the top 0.5% global experts in glaucoma by ExpertScape. In addition to my clinical work, I’m deeply involved in research and medtech innovation. I’ve authored 50+ peer-reviewed publications, edited the Elsevier textbook The Science of Glaucoma Management, and my studies on MIGS, intraocular pressure physiology, and neuroprotection have been featured in leading journals like Nature's Eye and the British Journal of Ophthalmology. As Chief Medical Officer at PeriVision, I’m working on the next generation of visual field and functional testing technologies to improve diagnostics. Teaching is another big part of my career - I’ve lectured at the University of Liverpool and the University of London, where I am the module lead on quality improvement in healthcare services. Beyond medicine, I have a background in architecture (MArch from Paris-LaVillette) and an MBA (University of London), fueling my interest in hospital design and patient experience.
