I started in the Office Products industry back in the 1980's as a wholesaler, selling to independent stationery and office products dealers across the UK. My company Hannaford & Marshall Ltd, trading as Hanmar Wholesale , become the largest independent office products wholesaler. That business was sold back in 2006 to a new entrant into the wholesale market who retained the name. Following this I concentrated my efforts on my current company, Cowans Direct Ltd, trading as Cowans Group that has its history date back to 1932, Cowans Group is a business to business supplier with the strap line "Everything for the Modern Office". It can supply across a whole range of products and services to consumers to satisfy their daily procurement requirements. Hopefully I bring my experience of the industry I have been involved with for so long to improve the customer-supplier experience by providing value rather than just low cost.
