During my nearly 27 years of law enforcement experience I have been blessed to have experienced most of what this job has to offer. I have worked corrections, patrol, criminal investigations, administration, community outreach, patrol supervision, supervised a multi-jurisdiction task force, worked with the youth for 25 years. Vice-president of ALEEAA (organization that puts on competitions and Academy for youth), I have been an SRO and currently the Director of the CASE program. During my time I have written, filmed, and edited many videos for social media. I am a graduate of FBI LEEDA leadership trilogy.
I was assigned as the CASE program director and assigned as an SRO at the high school. As the CASE Director, I am responsible for coordinating presentations to parents and kids at all for Calera Schools. I have also conducted several vape cessation classes to teens involved in substance misuse. I make prevention videos to post on social media.
As a police Corporal assigned to the schools, I was placed in command of the CASE program. I also had regular School Resource Officer (SRO)
I was assigned as an SRO to Calera High School
I was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. I spent a year as a shift commander. I was then moved back to Compact as the assistant Commanderfrom November 2022-August 2023.
Administration Sergeant/ Community Outreach. Patrol Sergeant / Law Enforcement supervisor for Compact. Compact is a multi jurisdiction task force.
I was assigned to the Community Outreach Coordinator. I made social media posts, went to Community events and made social media videos for the agency. I was also in charge of the hiring process. I interviewed several hundreds of candidates and successfully pushed nearly 60 people through the process to be hired.During this time I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. I also filled in as the Prisoner Transport Supervisor as well as a Patrol Supervisor.
I was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Unit. I was a general investigator and work well over 1,000 criminal cases.
I was a Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Patrol Division. During this time I was a Field Training Officer (FTO). I trained several members of the agency during my time on patrol.
I began my career at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office as a jail Deputy at 19 years of age.
