With over 9 years of experience in clinical social work and psychotherapy, I lead a private practice, Keven Duffy LCSW. My work centers on relational and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, using a psychodynamic approach to help clients navigate unconscious behaviors, relational dynamics, and life transitions. My practice is rooted in fostering meaningful introspection and providing clients with a safe space to explore complex emotions and experiences. Mange caseload of 20 + clients, psychodynamic therapy, substance abuse and mental health issues, facilitate groups including relapse prevention, CBT, anger management and some DBT work, conduct intake and psychosocial evaluations, create treatment plans and discharge plans, participate in case conferences, handle legal issues related to mandated clients, work with and manage Federal Bureau of Prison Inmates mandated to treatment, TASC, MTC, ACS and AOS clients, liase with State and Federal Probation Officers, write all court reports, comply with all OASAS 822 terms, also ACS consultant for the NYS office.
Conduct intake evaluations, facilitate both process and psyco-educational groups including social skills, small group dynamics and recovery, provide individual counseling for voluntary and mandated adults in program, conduct psychosocial evaluations, develop treatment plans and participate in weekly staff meetings.
