I've had a career in cybersecurity for nearly 25 years, and I've enjoyed every minute of it! My original background was in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing covering public and private sectors extensively. When I think about all the impactful security engagements I've had the privilege to be a part of or lead, I feel truly happy that I managed to find a career that lined up so well with the aspirations of my 10 year old self (after watching Wargames for the first time --true story!). Over the years I've added other areas of strategic experience including team and divisional leadership, company director financial accountability, innovation, organizational design, sales, business development, and marketing. I practice a resilient and empowering leadership style that builds trust and puts people at the heart of everything. In my current role I'm challenging myself to create innovative ground breaking security impact for AWS customers.
