I am currently pursuing a PhD in electrical engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, with a focus on renewable energy and smart grids. I have a master's degree in electrical power engineering from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University. In my previous role as a project engineer at Bharat Electricals Contractors and Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd., I was responsible for the erection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of various electrical systems and equipment, such as switchyards, distribution lines, transformers, and specially designed transformers. I also handled site material management, contractor billing, material utilization, and coordination with the state electricity board. I used my analytical skills and technical support expertise to ensure the quality and safety of the work, and to troubleshoot any issues or problems. I am passionate about learning new technologies and methods in the field of electrical engineering and data science, and I am eager to share my knowledge and experience with the team. From 20 Nov 2017 to 22 Aug 2019 (Approx. 1 year & 7 months) : From 1 May 2022 to 30 Sept 2023 (Approx. 1 year & 5 months) Work, Roles and Responsibilities: •Worked extensively with protective relays, circuit breakers, isolators, current transformers (CTs), potential transformers (PTs), surge arresters, capacitor banks, power transformers, rectifiers, inverters, switchgear assemblies, and control wiring systems. • Design, Erection, Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance of 33/11KV Switchyard, 33KV & 11KV bays,33 KV &11 KV Distribution Line, 11 KV/415 V Distribution Transformer Centre (DTC), Specially Designed Transformer & Secondary Distribution Line (LT). • Worked extensively with protective relays, circuit breakers, isolators, current transformers (CTs), potential transformers (PTs), surge arresters, capacitor banks, power transformers, rectifiers, inverters, switchgear assemblies, and control wiring systems. • Oversaw testing and commissioning activities, conducting functional tests and relay testing to verify the performance and reliability of protection systems. • Specified requirements for protective relays, circuit breakers, current transformers, and other protection equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. • Utilized engineering design and simulation tools such as Autocad, MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, PSCAD for system design, analysis, protection coordination. • Coordination with different departments (manufacturing, services, tendering) • Prepare Documentation: Create electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, validation reports, manuals, and technical documentation. • Apply Standards: Analyze and extract requirements from applicable international standards.
