Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of advanced technology, laboratory operations, product development and customer collaboration. My main drive is to give researchers access to new useful technologies that will drive research and development to the next level.
• With a focus on future product development and identification of customer needs, I initiated and headed strategic collaborations and projects, including our participation in a Horizon 2020 project with research groups in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. • As the main project leader, I pushed the completion of our new product, the HoloMonitor NG, to ensure readiness for launch. • I headed the development and verification of new applications such as cell proliferation, cell motility, and cell morphology, as well as the testing and validation of new software and hardware for a digital holographic microscope. • I have been a key player in PHI's commitment to regenerative medicine and cell therapies, including the on-site establishment of our office in Winston Salem, NC, USA. • I coordinated everything necessary to ensure a functioning, high-quality cell lab, including writing protocols (SOPs). • I maintained an appreciated and smoothly running service and support group, taking care of both customer and distributor needs. • The position demanded extended international travels (3-4 weeks).
• I identified and allocated necessary tasks for the group of biologists on a daily basis as well as on a long-term strategic basis. • I initiated long-term strategic collaborations with researchers in Europe and the USA. The position included frequent short-term (2-3 days) international travels. • All previous responsibilities from the position as application specialist were also included.
• Based on customer needs and ideas, I identified and developed new applications • I assessed the competitive landscape. • After finding new customer I demoed our product. • As a sales support, I organized and participated in marketing activities such as exhibits and customer visits, as well as developed training and marketing materials. • I initiated corporate research and supported customer and partner research, ensuring a large number of scientific publications. • The position included frequent short-term international travel.
