• Performed desk research to develop gender responsive methodologies for webinars, trainings, and dialogue sessions for parliamentary stakeholders to address various topics under climate change and sustainability. • Provided logistical support (such as hotel and flight procurement documents, memo drafting, and financial reconciliation) for inperson and virtual gatherings that convene parliamentarians, parliamentary staff, subject matter experts, and civil society actors such as women's organizations and youth acitivists, to address the priority issues faced in the Latin America and Caribbean region. • Performed policy analyses to identify gaps in national policies and action plans related to gender equality and climate change. • Developed and implemented a virtual and in-person training session on applying a gender-lens to decision-making as part of the Young Women in Leadership (YWiL) initiative held from December 2022 February 2023 for over 50 young women in Jamaica. • Moderated a panel of Jamaican women legislators and policy analysts to guide the discussion of challenges and opportunities faced with regard to applying a gender-lens to legislative scrutiny. • Provided key administrative support and acted as the point of contact for the 40 young women in Saint Lucia that partook in the Young Women in Leadership (YWiL) initiative held from April-June 2022 to promote women's political leadership and gender equality. • Served as the preliminary English reviewer of public facing documents such as press releases and publications including those translated from Spanish to English. • Regularly drafted press releases, post-activity reports and policy primers for the Climate Change programme. • Drafted weekly social media content for the Climate Change programme.
A collaborative project with Katharine Mach of the University of Miami. • Took a critical eye to the influence of media on the generation and communication of scientific knowledge to policy decision makers with regards to COVID-19. • Employed a high inference codebook designed to capture levels of science quality and sensationalism in COVID-19 media coverage.
