Reporting to the Planning & Business Improvement Manager. Responsible in conjunction with the Technical End User for the strategic planning of drilling / completion contracts and contractor performance management. Principal accountabilities include: - Technical preparation of bidding / contracting strategy inclusive of pricing models - Technical pre-qualification / selection of vendors - Negotiation of technical aspects of contract and service quality delivery - Ensuring balance between operational primacy vs marginal gains with respect to service offering pricing Subject matter expert for drilling/drill-in/completion fluid, waste management, wellbore clean out and filtration services.
Managing ADCO, ADOC,and Abu Dhabi Gas Development Company accounts with respect to the provision of drilling and completion fluid related services and related QHSE goals - Technical and operations planning support for existing customer base - Focal point for integration of SLB Well Services and M-ISWACO service offerings - Working in conjunction with WP,ES and PT productline/operations managers to maximize client offerings - Ensuring engineering and support staff compliance with respect to technical,non-technical and QHSE training - New Technology presentations ,sales and implementation in conjunction with Technical Department - Medium level P&L responsibility for client base including identification/use of higher margin products/systems and local product substitution - Tender response preparation inclusive of laboratory formulation evaluation, margin analysis and upsell potential over the life of the contract - Inventory forecasting, turn rate analysis,rig count analysis,market intelligence and revenue reporting to District Manager.
Responsible for the daily running of the Dubai Regional Technical Service Lab supporting MiddleEast and NorthAfrica operations. Operations of lab include QA/QC of products,evaluation of new products,routine fluid testing,fluid formulation for specific well conditions etc Also provided Technical support for country operations in the event of problems being encountered or New Technology introduction and Tender support.
Responsible for the provision of Wellbore Clean Out operations to BP and BG Responsibilities included: - Ensuring Wellbore assurance operations occur within Operators' and M-I SWACO's HSSE guidelines -General supervision of all deck operations during the well bore clean-out phase and acting as interface between rig operations and M-ISWACO onshorebase -Responsible for the planning, design, execution and evaluation of displacement fluids and mechanical well bore assurance tools. - Preparation of displacement and tool programs, cost estimates, hydraulic programs and End of Well Reports(EOWR) for customers.
