Co-created & delivered program activities and trainings for annual abortion storytelling cohort participants. Recruited, engaged, and supported new and developing abortion storytellers aligned with the organization's mission and vision. Developed and conducted enriching trainings for individuals on the intersection of social justice issues, marginalized identities, ethical storytelling, and abortion stigma. Planned and executed all aspects of virtual and in-person training activities, including scheduling, communication, and dissemination of materials for cohort participants. Engage with followers and build a strong online community through comments, DMs, and interactive content (e.g., polls, Q&As). Optimize content for discoverability on TikTok and Instagram using relevant hashtags, keywords, and platform-specific features. As the Communications Program Coordinator, I’m responsible for supporting the Communications program, We Testify, through logistical planning, program coordination, and administrative tasks. I assist in coordinating We Testify retreat logistics, implementing program campaigns, updating the We Testify website and social media presence, and maintaining related systems. I support the program in building the power and leadership of abortion storytellers and increasing the spectrum of abortion storytellers in the public sphere and shifting the way the media understands the context and complexity of accessing abortion care.
