Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. • Review financial statements and internal controls to assess accuracy and compliance with MFRS and guidelines from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies tailored to clients' specific needs and industry standards. • Prepare and present detailed audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations to clients and senior management. • Mentor and train junior auditors, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development. • Liaise with clients to address audit issues and provide strategic advice on improving financial processes and controls. • Stay updated on changes in audit regulations and best practices within Malaysia to ensure the application of the latest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with MFRS and relevant regulatory standards set by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and other governing bodies. • Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements and internal controls to assess accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring adherence to the Income Tax Act 1967 and other relevant tax legislation in Malaysia. • Provide tax advisory services, identifying opportunities for tax optimization and compliance strategies tailored to clients' needs. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering insights and recommendations to support their financial objectives and enhance operational efficiency. • Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment and promoting professional development. • Stay abreast of the latest developments in audit and tax regulations in Malaysia, ensuring best practices are applied in all engagements.
