大学在学中にベンチャー企業電脳隊を設立。その後設立したピー・アイ・エムとヤフーの合併に伴い、2000年にヤフーへ入社し、「Yahoo!モバイル」担当プロデューサーに就任。2003年社会貢献事業担当プロデューサーに就任。2006年にYahoo! JAPAN10周年記念非営利事業として「Yahoo!みんなの政治」を立ち上げ。2007年に「Yahoo!ニュース」などの責任者に就任。 2009年GYAOの代表取締役に就任し、年間約100億円の赤字企業を2年で黒字に転換。2012年ヤフーのCOOに就任。2018年ヤフーの代表取締役社長 CEO、ソフトバンクの取締役に就任。 2019年持株会社体制への移行に伴い、Zホールディングス 代表取締役社長 CEO、ヤフー 代表取締役社長 CEO就任。2020年ZOZOの連結子会社化に伴い、ZOZO 取締役に就任。2021年3月ZホールディングスとLINEの経営統合に伴い、社長就任。 2023年10月1日、LINEヤフー株式会社代表取締役会長就任。 LinkedIn上での発言はあくまでも個人の意見であり、所属する組織や政府の審議会の見解ではない事を予めご理解ください。 During my university years, I founded the venture company Dennotai. I also founded P.I.M., which later merged with Yahoo Japan, leading me to join Yahoo Japan in 2000 as a producer for "Yahoo! Mobile." In 2003, I transitioned to a producer role for social contribution projects. In 2006, I launched "Yahoo! Minna no Seiji" (translating to "Yahoo! Everyone's Politics") as a non-profit project for Yahoo! JAPAN's 10th anniversary. The following year, I took on responsibilities for "Yahoo! JAPAN News" and other projects. In 2009, I became the CEO of GYAO, successfully leading the company from an annual loss of approximately 10 billion yen to profitability within two years. I continued to advance within Yahoo Japan, serving as COO in 2012 and later assuming the roles of Representative Director and CEO in 2018. During this time, I also became a Board Director of SoftBank. In 2019, amid the transition of Yahoo Japan to a holding company structure, I assumed the positions of Representative Director and CEO of Z Holdings and Representative Director and CEO of Yahoo Japan. The following year, I became Director of ZOZO when it became a consolidated subsidiary. Following the integration of Z Holdings and LINE Corporation in March 2021, I assumed the role of President of LY Corporation.
