Job Duties: Head of Technical:- Tender Stage: 1. To lead Technical Team on technical proposal for all tenders. 2. Attend tender interview/briefing and site visit. 3. To guide and review all technical proposals. 4. Coordinate and liaise with other departments, consultants, JV partners, sub-contractors, specialists and the Clients to obtain and organize all the information for tender submission. 5. Presenting technical proposals to management, client and consultants. 6. To ensure compilation of tender are in order. Post Tender/Pre-Construction Stage: 1. Assist project team to provide all necessary information to kick start the project. 2. Assist project team to address all important technical issues. 3. Assist project team to prepare presentation materials 4. Attend site possession meeting if necessary to clarify all potential technical matters. 5. Compilation Technical Proposal for re-submission (if any). Construction Stage Technical Support: 1. Conduct technical/design audit in accordance to ISO requirement. 2. Collect relevant technical data or information for record and analysis for improvement. 3. Troubleshooting and support the project team to solve technical problem. In-House Development Projects Support: 1. To review consultants' design. 2. To assist on construction technical matters.
Job Duties: Assist Manager / Head of Technical / Project Leader on the following:- Tender Stage (Local & Overseas): 1. Attend tender interview/briefing and site visit. 2. Prepare tender brief and action list/submission list to ensure compliances of all tender requirements. 3. Coordinate and liaise with other departments, consultants, JV partners, sub-contractors, specialists and the Clients to obtain and organize all the information for tender submission. 4. Prepare tender presentation to management. 5. Compilation of Technical Proposals for tender submission, inclusive of Logistics, Method Statements, Organisation Chart, and Outline Overall Construction Methodology. Post Tender/Pre-Construction Stage: 1. Assist project team to provide all necessary information to kick start the project. 2. Assist project team to address all important technical issues. 3. Assist project team to prepare presentation materials 4. Attend site possession meeting if necessary to clarify all potential technical matters. 5. Compilation Technical Proposal for re-submission (if any). Construction Stage Technical Support: 1. Conduct technical/design audit in accordance to ISO requirement. 2. Collect relevant technical data or information for record and analysis for improvement. 3. Troubleshooting and support the project team to solve technical problem Others: 1. Always standby to assist General Manager (Local & Overseas) and Project Directors on other matters related to works. 2. Occasionally, travelling overseas (tender & site operation) to deal with technical issues. 3. Member of Group Culture Committee (GCC) to drive company’s Core Values. 4. Captain of Sport & Recreation Committee (SRC) to organise all company sports and recreation events. Project involved (as Technical Engineer cum QA/QC Engineer) 1. Meydan Racecourse, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 2. Yas Marina Racing Circuit, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- Authorised personnel to operate Project Monitoring System (PMS) to monitor all projects progress and payment under JPS Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. - Preparing monthly budget and expenses report to Head Quarter. - Responsible to do budget on 8th & 9th Malaysia Plan. - Responsible to monitor Kuala Lumpur flood information with Flood Forecasting System and communicate with local Authorities for flood action plan. - Maintenance works for all rivers in Kuala Lumpur. Project Involved (as Site Officer): Sungai Gombak Package B
Position Level : Fresh / Entry Level Specialization : Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural Industry : Construction / Building / Engineering; Work Description : Site supervision to ensure building quality based on drawing from consultants. Projects Invloved: Intel, Solectron, Phoenix Press Sdn. Bhd., Molex, Kulim Square (housing scheme), Dynacraft, to name a few. To supervise the construction from sub structure to super structure. To overlook the interior and exterior work of buildings (finishing work). Coordinating with contractors to regulate material based on the initial standard agreement and to ensure the quality and specifications are based precisely on the engineering drawing plans.
