Currently Director Port Developments at Terminal Investment Limited (TIL), a leading global port & container terminal operator. Responsible for projects across the group, assuming board level responsibilities for major Greenfield developments and conversions/expansions of existing terminals. Additional responsibilities cover the implementation of the group's Energy Transition and Decarbonisation strategy. TIL’s portfolio consists of more than 50 port facilities across 5 continents, positioned at strategic locations at the heart of world trade. It supports the operations of MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company), the world’s second largest shipping line, whilst also providing services to the majority of the other shipping lines. Previously held various corporate and project management responsibilities with DEME, one of the largest and most diversified maritime contractors, in particular on offshore wind and offshore oil & gas developments. Team-player with extensive experience building long-term alliances across organisational boundaries with both public and private stakeholders. Responsible for projects across TIL's portfolio of assets, representing several billions in investments. Key focus on major conversions/expansions, greenfield developments and automated terminals. Heading the Energy Transition and Decarbonisation implementation programme to achieve net-zero emissions across the portfolio.
Leading a team of asset managers and project managers in charge of all technical matters related to the acquisition, development, expansion and management of the group's infrastructure assets. Instrumental in obtaining a pipeline of new assets and concessions for development, both through public tender and direct acquisition. Led a series of greenfield developments across the globe, representing a total investment of about 4 billion USD. Organised structure and provided leadership during TIL's transition from a financial holding with a start-up organisation towards a leading global operator.

Lomé Container Terminal is the first modern transshipment facility in West & Central Africa and a game-changer for the regional logistics industry. I have been leading this development from the very early stages in 2009 through to commissioning and start of operations at the terminal in 2014. This 350M EUR investment is the largest for a private port in the region. Financing was obtained from IFC (World Bank Group) and various other Development Financial Institutions. In 2012, 50% of the shares in LCT were sold to China Merchants Holdings International (CMHI).
