Redland Ahead, Inc. is a 501-C3 non-profit organization formed to: 1. Work in unison with Florida International University ("FIU") to provide support for FIU’s Agro-Ecology program in South Florida in expansion of the newly awarded FIU Hispanic Land Grant University status. 2. Support the training of underserved populations and USA Military Veterans to become farmers & explore careers in Agri-business in programs offered by FIU and University of Florida Tropical Research and Education Center (TREC). 3. Support training to improve the profitability from existing or future crops through university and private development of incubators, commercial kitchens and other ventures in the Redland community. Additionally Redland Ahead has Second Chance Canines an organization that works with local canine shelters to place abandoned or rescued dogs within the Redland Agricultural boundaries. The dogs are evaluated for various alternative uses in detection work, film, PTSD companion, or other working/companion formats. Second Chance Canines works in association with Florida International University (FIU) top-ranked forensic science programs through the International Forensic Research Institute (IFRI) and the Global Forensic and Justice Center (GFJC). The flagship program is the Master of Science (MS) in Forensic Science, alongside a Professional Science Master's, PhD tracks, and an undergraduate certificate.
FPI and HGP II work with USA Asia Pacific and Middle Eastern-based private equity firms in evaluating investment opportunities in the restaurant, entertainment, and hospitality industry and assists investment groups in finding the right brands and franchisors for them to add to their portfolio of operating companies. Our international focus includes the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, India, and the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region. Additionally, FPI assists private equity groups in evaluating rapidly growing concepts, under-performing restaurant and hospitality companies. FPI develops/implements strategic action plans for investing in concepts and restructuring and re-imaging under-performing entities. Concepts and franchise groups evaluated ranged from concepts of G.R.E.A.T. Grill Group and Bru's Room Sports Grill to Franchise groups of TGI Friday's, Applebee's, and Twin Peaks among others.
