He has amassed valuable experience across Singtel, Microsoft and Accenture, where he specialized in market entry strategy, corporate strategy, growth strategy, profitability improvement, financial modeling and M&A, predominantly in the TMT industry within Asia. His expertise spans SAAS, Data Centers and Mobile/ Broadband companies. In addition, Ken is an alumni of Nanyang Technological University and graduated with Second-Upper Class Honors in the School of Mechanical Engineering.
Provides 5 year strategic recommendations to Group CEO and Board of Directors, helping to drive Singtel’s top agendas, which strengthen the core business and build new growth engines: • Indonesia fixed broadband/ mobile market and M&A assessment, which led to the purchase of a ~SGD5bn broadband business • Setting up a new data center business and market entry strategy (Prioritized markets and customer segments, value proposition and set-up of new entity structure) supported with a business case • Carved out a digital infrastructure business • Growth strategy for NCS, an IT consulting subsidiary (Prioritized markets, customer segments and product offerings), which included assessment of technology offerings (AI, Cloud, etc.) • Profitability improvement for Optus, an Australia telco
