Ken was born in Johannesburg, South Africa where he spent his formative years. After moving to Cape Town he went travelling through Europe for a year. Ken started at the bottom of the industry as a cleaner in one of the five star Hotels in Cape Town. After completing an International Diploma in Tourism at a Cape Town College. Ken has 20 years of experience in Cultural, Historical, Gourmet and Shopping Guiding. Having travelled extensively around the country he settled down and had a son. Ken has a passion for touring and feels very strongly about eco tourism, upliftment of the people and the land. The cross cultural diversity and unique flora and fauna of the country makes South Africa a unique part of the world and Ken appreciates this an exciting vocation in tourism. The Eastern Cape holds a special place in his heart, and especially for its spectacular Big 5 wildlife experiences, and bushveld scenery. Ken has completed a course with the Cape Wine Academy covering vast aspects of South African wines and winemaking practices. Ken is a guide in the Eastern and Western Cape and is based in Cape Town South Africa.
