Lead composition workshops and tutorials for second-year undergraduates.
Helped manage tasks within the scope of the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, HellHOT! New Music Festival and Contemporary Musicking, including: Attending meetings and help with general administrative support to the organizations, including grant writing, concert preparation, in-house concert attendance/stage management support and web design, Researching new music festivals/people and build database of audience members, potential collaborators and current collaborators, Liaising and managing external parties, e.g. LCSD, venue managers, print companies, designers - Explore new artistic/funding opportunities through constant research of grant other arts organizations, festivals etc.
Assisted a professor in carrying out a number of projects related to music, including: - Conducted research, writing and translation for the publication of a book related to Shijing and Chuci Music; - Assisted in the music analysis of songs by a notable 20th century Chinese composer; - Conducted research and prepared for a presentation on Chinese and Western mixed instrumental works for a seminar in the United States.
Conducted private lessons and offered guidance to composition for an undergraduate composition student.
