Worked within Islington PCT (later renamed Whittington Health following the merger of two NHS Trusts). I held several progressive roles to develop specialist skills and expertise across community public health and safeguarding. In these positions, I practiced as a Specialist Community Public Health Practitioner supporting families with children under five, providing health promotion, early intervention, and preventative guidance. My responsibilities included running child health clinics, undertaking safeguarding duties, liaising with multidisciplinary professionals, and mentoring and supervising junior staff. Within the Safeguarding Children’s Team, I provided supervision, training, and safeguarding guidance to NHS staff. I also served as the health representative at MARAC meetings, contributing to coordinated action plans for high-risk domestic abuse cases in collaboration with police, social services, and other key agencies.
