Kelly has worked for the City of Chicago, ICS Hong Kong (international school), Chicago Public Schools, the Archdiocese of Chicago, and currently serves on the Board of the nonprofit The Friendship Center. Kelly has also worked at the technology consulting firms Slalom and Reply. Kelly’s focus has been on managing IT and communications teams, and providing people with the core services they need to navigate the world we live in. Whether that be through distribution of social services, access to information and technology, or equipping teams with training, communication, and management skills, Kelly has committed her career to making people’s lives better. Kelly graduated magna cum laude from Boston University and has a Masters in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice (formerly known as the School of Social Service Administration). She has a certification in Nonprofit Management from Northwestern University’s Executive Scholars Program and is also PMP certified by PMI. Kelly lives in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago with her husband, daughter, and dog, Scotch. In her free time, Kelly loves all forms of storytelling - TV, movies, books, music - and is a published author. Her two novels, The Cube and The Stories We Choose Not To Tell are both available on Amazon and wherever books are sold.
