I am a marine mammal researcher focused on dolphin and sea lion welfare, enrichment and cognition. Currently, I am Scientist at the National Marine Mammal Foundation. I have previous experience as a Senior Marine Mammal Specialist working with bottlenose dolphins as well as a lecturer for the University of Miami.

Animal Behavior, Fall 2014- Instructor Taught 30 undergraduate students in assessing different areas of animal behavior, covering topics such as natural selection, cognition, and social behavior. Created lectures, assignments, and exams. Introduction to Statistics, Fall 2013- Instructor Taught 120 undergraduate students the basics of statistics, including t-tests and ANOVA's. Created syllabus, lectures, homework, quizzes and exams for a class three times the normal statistics class size as a first time instructor. Collected data for Master's Thesis looking at cooperative behavior in bottlenose dolphins. Scheduled trials, collected and organized data, delegated project tasks to research interns, and assisted in collecting and analyzing data for other ongoing research projects at the facility.
