About

My name is Jacob Keller, but my peers call me Jake. I am from Upstate New York and decided to study at the University of Florida to put myself in an entirely new environment. I strive to push myself outside my comfort zone, expand my knowledge and understanding and create a diverse set of skills to help me succeed in the future. I have a passion for knowledge and drive to use what I have learned to benefit society and advance it technologically. I value integrity most in an individual, so in the academic field and any extracurricular I partake in, I hold myself to this standard. I am a passionate and ambitious student whose caring nature creates an environment that facilitates growth and development of a team as a whole. As I continue to learn about technologies of the future, the more I want to be at the forefront. As an ever-learning senior mechanical engineer, I hope to make connections with individuals who will teach me new skills and broaden my scope and understanding of advancing technologies. I hope to learn aspects of business to share my ideas, but also have a strong grasp on developing topics within the engineering field. I desire to solve problems, in small cases and at large, and see the positive impact I can make on society.
