I am an 18 year old project management student at RMIT, currently completing a Diploma of Project Management and building a strong foundation in how projects are planned and delivered. I was also awarded Dux of my year level in Vocational Major, which reflects my strong work ethic and commitment to achieving high results. Alongside my studies, I work at Woolworths and also help run my dad’s businesses, where I am involved in sales and social media marketing. This has helped me develop strong communication skills, confidence working with people, and a good understanding of how businesses operate day to day. I enjoy staying active through working out and also value giving back through community service. These experiences have helped me build discipline, teamwork, and consistency. I am someone who is organised, reliable, and motivated to learn. I value clear communication, accountability, and working well within a team, which I believe are important qualities for a future project manager. I am looking to gain hands on experience in the construction or business industry and continue developing my skills in a real world environment.
Working within my dad’s business, I assist with sales and social media marketing, helping to promote products and engage with customers. I communicate with potential buyers, handle enquiries, and support the sales process from initial contact through to closing. I also contribute to creating and managing social media content, which has helped me develop skills in marketing, customer interaction, and understanding how a business operates day to day.
Working at the front end on registers at Woolworths, I assist customers with purchases while providing friendly and efficient service. I handle cash and card transactions accurately, manage busy periods, and resolve basic customer enquiries. This role has helped me build strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
