Team member for the operations, maintenance and preservation of Guaracara Refinery. Coordinating and operating Guaracara Refinery's acid loading facility.
Coordinating startup and shut down of processing units. Optimizing processing units to achieve desired targets. Training and development of junior operators. Planning and coordinating maintenance activities on processing units. Ensuring all HSE standards and protocols are maintained and stringently adhered to.
Executing startup and shut down of processing units Adjust processing unit’s condition within set parameters consistent with design specifications to achieve unit efficiency. Monitor processing unit’s ancillary equipment to ensure reliability and functionality. Carry out proper product sampling procedures in accordance with refinery guidelines. Coordinate all tank farm operations including product routings, gauging, sampling , transfers and supplying processing units with charge.
Process monitoring both field and DCS. Monitoring all rotating equipment in processing unit. Maintaining Plant utilities at an optimum level including cooling tower operations, fire water systems and waste water systems. Loading and removing necessary bulk lubricants utilizing CAT TH103 Telehandler. Coordinating ship loading utilizing conveyor systems. Assisting lead mechanical technician in preventative maintenance schedule including vibration monitoring, alignment checks, servicing of valves and general overhaul of rotating equipment.
