Senior Operations Geologist with over a decade of industry experience. Leading operations across multiple business units. Currently focused on Cooper Basin and Northern Territory operations.
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of mud logging geology, well bore analysis, gamma-ray interpretation, quality control, real time data and completion of mud Log drafting utilizing High Resolution Digital Microscope (HRDM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) techniques. • Surveillance and analysis of Drilling Equipment and Techniques utilizing state of the art equipment. Keeping safety as the main priority by keeping client and rig personnel informed of any changes in drilling parameters. • Acquisition, recording and processing pressure concepts and trends and their relation to drilling parameters. • Operation, installation and analysis of hydrocarbon, formation gas, CO2 and H2S detection sensor systems and interpretation of their relationship to the material being drilled. • Safety and quality control of rock material and safe drilling practices. • Forklift operation, deliveries, stock-take, inventory and compliance checks for all equipment kept within the operating base. • BOSIET, CSTP, senior first aid and 4WD Trained. • First person trained on operation and use of HRDM and XRD within Australasia for Geoservices, Schlumberger.
