I share my passion for sailing with others, enjoying the thrill of the journeys, meeting like-minded voyagers and spectacular destinations. Since retiring from a career of consulting in 2023, I've logged almost 10,000 nautical miles sailing large boats up and down the east coast and through the Bahamas. My wife and I started Sailing Passages LLC in 2025 and acquired an Excess 14 sailing catamaran that I named, "Full Circle", as I've returned full circle to my teen days of sailing after decades of motorboats. We are partnering with world class sailing instruction companies to offer long passage and ocean racing experiences to sailors who long to build skills and experience in open water, multiday instructional experiences with overnight shifts; something you can not do when chartering a boat from charter companies. We'll run full circles each year, starting in New England, heading down to the southern Caribbean and back to New England as the hurricane seasons dictate. Prior to realizing my childhood dreams of owning a running a bluewater sailboat, I worked in the property and casualty insurance industry. I was fortunate to work with extremely talented people over the course of 30 years selling and leading underwriting, claims, sales and accounting programs that at times crossed multiple continents and included 100's of team members.
