Manage relationships with government customer and end-user teams in support of increasing product interest and contract growth. Pitch possible improvements to the contract baseline and generate excitement around enhanced capabilities. Maintain sole responsibility for acquiring corporate resources to be responsive to customer’s demands and to ensure continued program success. Provide guidance for engineering support and ensure prompt and proper technical execution of all tasks based on customer and end-user requirements to ensure confident adherence to the Statement of Work (SOW).
Individual contributor and Software Team Lead for multiple space and ground systems worth over $100,000,000. At ATC, the Software Team Lead formulates and assigns tasks for a team of between 2 and 10 people from multiple company locations. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership to the development teams, individually contributing to the software products, organizing code reviews and writing documents for requirements traceability, architecture and detailed design descriptions, software version descriptions, test reports and technical operations manuals. This role is the central point of contact for both management and the customer for all software related activities throughout the program life-cycle. The life-cycle begins with the Request For Proposal (RFP) response and preliminary design phase, then continues through system level requirements analysis and proper flow-down to system/software components, into the detailed design phase, implementation, system level integration, formal test and requirements verification. I directly support the program manger by creating quarterly management summaries and presenting software development and system test progress to customer teams, as well as responding to customer requests for information and on-site product training and support.
Developed, tested, maintained and optimized waveform software for multiple Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems. This included application software as well as Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Design elements. Documented all aspects of development, including requirements analysis, software design and test. Managed the formal software release process and bug or Problem Change Report (PCR) process for team developed source code. Isolated and debugged cross-platform anomalies. Assisted in writing RFP responses for new contracts. Organized and hosted Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) and Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) Formal Qualification Tests (FQTs) for requirements verification and customer acceptance. Identified as the lead engineer in support of a system-wide Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) for SINCGARS and SRW waveforms. Traveled to multiple remote locations to support field testing of developed systems.
