Blackburn, Victoria, Australia
I have worked with business clients for about 45 years, firstly as a banker with National Australia Bank and ANZ Banking Group with some interesting side roles in merchant banking before crossing over to private legal practice in 1999 specialising in taxation and business law for SME clients I have formal qualifications in economics and finance, accounting and law and have published several textbooks and many journal articles on taxation and business law issues. In 2005 the Law Institute of Victoria recognised my “outstanding contribution to the legal profession” for my contributions to law reform in the financial services sector, and changes to stamp duty and GST law. I took the first GST case to the High Court. I am a beekeeper, love to travel and get a buzz out of mentoring clients and colleagues.
