Keith Andrew Perry is the Vice President of Government Relations for the DC Chamber of Commerce having previously served as the Executive Director at the American Red Cross, for the Southern Maryland Chapter where he delivered humanitarian services and programs and led Red Cross government relations in the State of Maryland. With over 20 years of writing experience, he is the author of the novel War Anthem and several journalistic projects on political and social topics. He also contributes to Langston Magazine, a publication that promotes the preservation of the historic Langston Golf Course in Washington, DC. He is a seasoned non profit and association consultant and has served on numerous non profit boards in the Washington metropolitan area, including, The Historic Howard Theatre. Perry holds a BA in Political Science from Morehouse College where he served as the 52nd Student Government President, and a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law. He has certifications in strategic communications for nonprofits from American University and Diversity and Inclusion form Cornell University. He has a proven track record of advancing public policy, building coalitions, developing and executing strategic plans, and managing complex projects and events. He is passionate about diversity and inclusion, community engagement, and social justice. He has also been an adjunct professor at the University of the District of Columbia where he taught courses on ethics and civic engagement.
