Entry-level immigration legal assistant with hands-on experience supporting USCIS filings, client intake, and immigration case preparation in both a law firm and legal clinic setting. I have worked on family-based and naturalization matters, assisting with document gathering and review, drafting first-round case materials, preparing USCIS filing packets, and coordinating client correspondence with foreign nationals. Previously, I served as a remote Immigration Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Jath Shao, where I supported attorneys with case preparation and filing workflows for immigration-related petitions. My responsibilities included organizing supporting documents, drafting initial case materials, compiling and formatting USCIS filing packets, and coordinating client intake and case correspondence with foreign nationals. In addition, I volunteered at a naturalization legal clinic, where I assisted with N-400 applications, conducted client intake interviews, coordinated appointment scheduling, and provided Mandarin–English interpretation for Chinese-speaking applicants. I am currently seeking an entry-level legal assistant or paralegal role focused on immigration, where I can continue building my skills in case preparation, filing, and client service, and grow long-term within a law firm environment. I am authorized to work in the U.S. under OPT and will require H-1B sponsorship in the future. Mandarin–English bilingual.
