An aspiring Human Resources Professional who is both open-minded and passionate. Highly dedicated to their work and strive to continually adapt and grow within any organization; an avid open and effective communicator, outspoken, and always developing new skills as new opportunities are offered. Some true passions include working with and helping other people out, leadership, development and training, labor relations, talent acquisition and development, and building Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion awareness. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural and Global Studies, with minors in Management and Leadership, along with an Undergraduate Certificate in Cultural Competency. Kevin can also speak English and Spanish fluently. He has started in continuing his education at Wayne State University, in their Master of Business Administration program, with a double concentration in Human Resources Management and Marketing. Kevin's current role is with Marriott International, as a (Detroit) Market Human Resources Manager. In his free time, Kevin is passionate about traveling, working out/staying active, learning about new cultures, and trying new dishes/foods. As a first-generation Mexican immigrant, Kevin has had the privilege to have held opportunities and accomplish in many different industries, including the Food and Service Industry, Non-Profit organizations, Retail, and currently Hospitality.
Supporting the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, Detroit Marriott Troy, The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport, and The Dearborn Inn, Autograph Collection with Human Resources and Recruiting efforts. Additionally, have formerly supported The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit from November 2024-February 2026.
Served as a Human Resources Manager (Voyager) for the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
