Between 2013 and 2021, I contributed to solving complex engineering problems in industries where experimental testing or hand calculations were not feasible, by applying advanced CFD methodologies. During this period, I worked at Figes (2013–2018) and Numesys (2018–2021), both recognized as ANSYS Elite Channel Partners, and carried out 30+ CFD projects for major sectors including automotive, defense, aerospace, and energy. Between 2021 and 2024, I worked at TRMOTOR, focusing on turbine cooling technologies. I was directly involved in the main engine turbine cooling design of the KAAN fighter jet and the cooling design of the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU40) of the Hürjet aircraft. Alongside design work, I developed Python-based tools for turbine cooling analysis, automation of complex 3D conjugate CFD workflows, and CFD methodology development. In addition to my technical role, I also served as Engineering Software and Hardware Coordinator, where I managed FlexNET OPT files in coordination with the PLM team, evaluated and optimized the use of commercial and in-house software and hardware within the design department, coordinated training programs for technical software, and conducted usage analysis of engineering tools. Since 2024, I have been working at ASELSAN, focusing on thermal design and analysis in strategically important national projects. Alongside my professional career, I completed my PhD in 2024 on lithium-ion battery cooling, further strengthening my expertise in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermal management. I have a strong interest in the theory of CFD, numerical methods, and scientific computing, and I enjoy putting new ideas into practice with a strategic, interdisciplinary, and innovative approach. I am particularly motivated by tackling complex technical challenges, driving methodology development, and contributing to high-impact engineering solutions. ● Carrying out thermal design activities for land, air and naval platforms. ● Planning and carrying out thermal design, equipment selection, thermal/flow analysis and verification/testing activities at component and system level by participating in the preliminary design processes of the projects. ● Establishing active or passive cooling system architecture according to product requirements.
● Carrying out turbine cooling studies with various cooling architectures ● Creation and developing of a fully automated 1D python-based tool to determine turbine cooling channels from airfoil geometries in several radial sections provided by the aero team. ● Creation of 1D correlation-based turbine cooling project roadmap and follow-up of workflows. ● Conjugate CFD analyses of 3D complex HPT turbine cooling ● Developing a python solver to quickly estimate turbine metal temperatures for concept and preliminary phases of projects. ● Determination of the 3D conjugate CFD analysis methodology for the detailed and further phases of the projects, script-based automation of analyses in Linux HPC systems, parameterization of turbine geometry and running with fully automated CFD analysis.
● Managing FlexNET OPT file by considering design team activities with PLM team ● Evaluating the software (both in-house and commercial) and hardware used by the employees in the design department, ensuring that they are used in the most effective way, and coordinating with the IT and PLM department if necessary. ● Determining and documenting the trainings to be received for commercial technical software owned by TRMotor and creating the training infrastructure for new colleagues. ● Analysis of usage rates of commercial technical software
