About

I am (PhD) interested in the role of culture and sport in international relations. My research works are interdisciplinary. Culture (and sport as one of its manifestations) I treat as one of the factors shaping the impact on our lives, both in the social and individual dimension. Areas of activity: culture, cultural heritage, international relations, traditional sports, sport, recreation and tourism.

    Instytut Kultury, Sportu i Edukacji /Institute of Culture, Sport, and Education/ (IKSE) has been operating since 2025, focusing mainly on culture, heritage, sport and education. It has based its activity on cooperation with non-government and higher education organisations, associations, clubs, schools, universities. Our experience includes publishing activities (publications related to culture, sports, physical activity) and organizational (conferences, seminars, trainings). The Foundation has specialists in many fields, which gives us the opportunity to operate in various areas of culture, heritage, sport, tourism, recreation and education. They are among us people who are specialists in the field of sports psychology, communication and media in sport, recreation and sports activities, marketing and management in sport, tangible and intangible heritage, culture, renovation of monuments, heritage management, traditionals sports. We also have experience in working with children, adults, people with disabilities. Foundation members have project experience (eg. Erasmus, Cosme, Europe for Citizens, Structural Funds, Norwegian Funds). We have numerous national and international contacts. The foundation's activities include two global projects: Cultural Heritage and Traditional Sports.

    ICM is a Category 2 centre under the auspices of UNESCO established on the 19th of December, 2016 by an 「Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Korea and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) regarding the International Centre of Martial Arts for Youth Development and Engagement under the auspices of UNESCO」. The Centre is located in Chungju City, the home of Taekkyeon, which is included on the UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Martial Arts holds immense value as it naturally developed alongside human history. Therefore, the centre is committed to preserving existing martial arts and passing them along to future generations. ICM also strives to implement research initiatives and different forms of experiential and educational programmes to promote the flourishing of martial arts in contemporary society, moving beyond the confines of the past. ICM also plans to provide many different opportunities where young people can realize their own potential and become fulfilled by actively engaging in their communities. ICM will continue to expand the culture of peace and non-violence and enhance the protection of cultural diversity, all of which serve to fulfill UNESCO's mission.

    AEJeST is a non-governmental organization recognized by UNESCO. In 2001, nearly a hundred delegates from different organisations decided to create the European Association for Traditional Sports and Games (AEJeST), at the service of Traditional Sports and Games (TSG). This initiative followed several international scientific meetings and festivals held between the 1980s and 1990s. The founding members wanted to activate a network of networks between different European institutions around traditional games and sports. These organisations represent educational institutions (universities, training schools), federations, sports associations, cultural associations, museums and people who are sensitive to the TSG.

    Instytut Rozwoju Sportu i Edukacji /Institute for the Development of Sport and Education/ (IRSIE) has been operating since 2011, focusing mainly on sport, physical culture, culture, heritage and education. The Foundation works with national and international partners in the implementation of projects, of common initiatives and tasks assigned. Our experience includes publishing activities, organizational (conferences, seminars) and project implementation activities (eg. Erasmus, Interreg, Cosme, European Founds). The Foundation is a member of European Traditional Sports and Games Association (ETSGA)/ Association Européenne des Jeux et Sports Traditionnels (AEJeST), World Ethnosport Confederation and International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA). Foundation IRSiE is a partner of the Krajowa Sieć Obszarów Wiejskich (National Rural Network). The Foundation publishes the Journal of Sport and Recreation. www.sportinstytut.pl
