About

KAYPRI IS YOUR FAVORITE MULTI-HYPHENATE! I am a Storyteller, Story Shaper, and Story Producer. Fiction or Non-Fiction. Plays or Books. Screenplays too! Marketing Materials and Bios. On the Page and On the Stage! I BRING GOOD STORIES TO LIFE!!! As a trained actor and solo performer, I use my skills to jump into my client's characters on the page to stay true to their literary voice. I have a very astute ear for dialogue a talent which was first pointed out to me by my 7th grade Creative Writing teacher when I wrote my first play, a book adaptation. I am particularly good with first-timers, as well as more experienced writers who find themselves stuck in a rut needing direction. My first client the (only one I did not charge), was my late Mom, who was struggling to tell her own story as dementia was stealing her words. Thankfully she had written down enough that I was able to give her her finished book for her 80th birthday so she could recognize it was done. I am so grateful that a video of that beautiful moment exists on www.dorothystory.com I can do the same for you, your loved one, or your company. I can also come to you and do my storytelling workshop, THEIR STORY YOUR GIFT and I share excerpts of my solo plays and books. Feel free to inquire within for more info.

Assisted with developing book projects from conception all the way to completion with first-time authors with undeveloped ideas. Conducted interviews, created book outlines based on interviews with subjects, and helped authors to shape their literary voices. Afterward, I wrote and edited their chapters and completed their books. I resigned from this position due to the fact that the deadline for the book extended due to the subject getting a new job which tied up their time thereby extending the deadline. No monetary grace was granted to me, and I parted ways. I did turn in the finished product off the clock because of my great respect for the author who has since become a close professional relationship. She was the best part of a very difficult job.
