About

I am passionate about law and the legal side of it, for example Paralegal Studies, working in a law firm, etc., and also reaching out the youth and being able to be a positive role model in their life. My years of working as a mentor with Southern University TRIO Upward Bound Program, has taught me that the youth are our future and we as individuals must see to it that we direct them in the right path and not leave them behind. My objective is to obtain a position that will enable me to apply my Masters of Arts in Political Science and my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice, in a dynamic company with significant opportunity for growth. I am qualified candidate with a background in Political Science, Criminal Justice, Clerical, Mentor/Counseling and Customer Service. I am a self-motivated, disciplined individual with an intense desire to succeed. I am able to cooperate with a team as well as work independently; very reliable when needed. I also am successfully developed in programs that help and mentor young children and high school students; a team builder and lateral thinker with strong business acumen. Resourceful, creative, and diligent, always known to be one step ahead of others.

As well as, organized members within the organization on political and non-political issues. I also attended staff meetings, attended conferences, business trips and/or trainings, participated in protests, rallies, etc., and did data entry and daily outreach to base build our membership in Step Up Louisiana. I also organized, plan, and executed my first town hall meeting on November 9, 2019, which was based around the issues in the education system of New Orleans. It was a major success and brought awareness to our community and brought around more involvement in the advocacy.
