• Creating invoices and pursuing the collection of payment via phone and email. • Build positive relationships with clients. • Reconciling incoming payments. • Working with Sales to determine strategies on delinquent accounts. • Prepare and distribute monthly statements of A/R clients to internal stakeholders. • Process monthly staff expenses. • Maintaining up to date client information in a web-based CRM • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including invoices, statements, etc. • Maintaining historical records • Verifying expense reports • Responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
. Securing the revenue that is generated by the sales organization . Building strong customer relationships . Contact customers via phone/fax/email to discuss outstanding invoices and billing issues . Manage a collections portfolio ranging from 300-600 accounts (focused on a Canadian and/or US territory of accounts) . Using Salesforce, Horizon & Oracle Applications . Negotiate customer payment terms as needed based on assessment of account status to ensure maximum payment recovery . Review and make decisions regarding orders placed on hold . Work with internal sales reps to pro-actively troubleshoot payment issues (i.e. invoicing, pricing, product/service issues) . Document and track collections activity and work from a monthly aging report . Manage to individual and department monthly receivable targets
