I am a simulation engineer with an academic background in computational science and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) through the COMMAS master's programme. I also have hands-on industrial and academic experience in battery simulation, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), heat transfer and backend software development coming from internships and working student and master thesis roles. I am also interested in numerical implementation of algorithms, programming and automation of workflows. With my prior experience as a research intern, I have explored different CFD models and methods specific to turbulent flow and heat transfer analysis.
Working on development of electrochemical-thermal-mechanical coupled simulation model for improved LFP battery cell simulation.
Working on the development of a battery simulation toolchain for parameter calibration in MATLAB. Developed a tool for automating test bench data export from CONCERTO.
Working under the Digitalization for Sustainability (DigiTain) Project. Developed Physics-Informed Machine Learning (PINN) models for predicting coupled thermomechanical static and transient systems and implemented model-order reduction methods. Conducting structural simulations of hydrogen tank under refilling, emptying and crash scenarios using LS-DYNA. Performed Symbolic Regression studies with stress data from simulations to discover mathematical relationships between input and output data.
Working on 3D CFD simulations for powertrain components with StarCCM+. Investigation and modelling of battery ageing processes with COMSOL. 1D simulations for H2-ICE combustion model calibration with GT-Power.
Worked as a Java Backend developer and gained valuable software development experience by translating client requirements into web application features. Also worked on frontend and web/microservices along with database operations.
