As a Senior Consultant Smart City & eGov at Bechtle and Board Member in the Bitkom Working Group Smart City/Smart Region, I am committed to shaping a modern, sovereign and responsible digital transformation of the public sector. I support cities and regions in becoming more data‑driven, resilient and intelligent: through data‑based decision‑making, smart infrastructures and the use of trustworthy AI solutions that create real value. At the center of this work lies a contemporary digital public service provision that balances ecological and economic sustainability with the needs of public administrations and society.
At PAC I was particularly responsible for keeping track of the IT market trends and provider strategies in the Netherlands and for analyzing the specific digitization topics and developments in the public sector and retail. In addition, my work covers strengthening PAC's relationships with public sector institutions such as BMWi, BMBF or European Commission, and managing related projects.
My main responsibilities at Berlecon comprised the comprehensive analyses of IT trends and usage barriers especially in Germany, B2B survey coordination and related statistical analyses, and the acquisition of projects for public sector institutions, e.g. for the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) or the European Commission.
