Charlotte Metro
I am a GIS Analyst for the City of Charlotte, where I support public safety by maintaining and enhancing the geospatial data behind the Fire Department’s Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. My work ensures that first responders rely on accurate, reliable, and well-managed spatial data when it matters most. I manage ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, and enterprise geodatabases, and build automated workflows, services, and scripts using Python and SQL to streamline processes and improve system performance. I earned a Master’s degree in Geospatial Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, graduating with a 3.8 GPA and advanced training in spatial analysis, modeling, and visualization. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from UNC Charlotte, where I graduated Cum Laude, earned a 3.65 GPA, and received the Susan Z. Ainsworth Scholarship. I’m driven by the opportunity to use GIS to solve real-world problems, improve decision-making, and create practical impact—especially in public sector and emergency services environments.
