About

I’ve spent nearly 20 years in public K-12 education as a science teacher, instructional technology coach, and district STEM specialist, and that classroom-rooted perspective shapes everything I do. These days, I’m Head of Content and Creative at Kami, where I lead content strategy, sales enablement, and creative work across the Kami family of products, including Kami App, Kami Companion, and Book Creator. I care deeply about making technology work for every learner, and accessibility and UDL aren’t checkboxes for me; they’re lenses I bring to every project. I also speak at national conferences on creativity, accessibility, and instructional technology, and I write and create under my personal brand, FieldingNotes, where I explore the questions that don’t fit neatly into a job description. I’m an ISTE Certified Educator and Trainer, Google Innovator, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert Fellow, Canvas Certified Educator, Adobe Creative Educator, and proud member of the Canva K-12 Advisory Council and the Book Creator Ambassador community. A few highlights I’m proud of: VSTE Coach of the Year and Woodbridge Senior High School Educator of the Year. If you’re working at the intersection of education, content, and technology, I’d love to connect.
