About

As the Coordinator of Clinical Field Experiences, I work to find quality placements for our CMU Teacher Candidates in Michigan K-12 schools. Networking with local schools to place students with highly qualified teachers to gain experience in the classroom, before their 16 week Student Teaching experience. Presenter at Student Teaching Application Meetings. Liaison in CMU's Partnership with Gateway Elementary in St. Johns, Michigan where we are placing Pre-Student Teachers for their field experiences with highly qualified teachers for a 10 week placement. This partnership is also focused on STEM and working with Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers, each classroom has been paired with a local farmer in St. Johns. Promotion of Global Field Experiences for Pre-Student Teachers and Student Teachers in Oaxaxa, Mexico, Dublin, Ireland, Canberra, Australia, and Immokalee, Florida. Coordinating and assisting CMU professors in the application process for students and planning of the experience.
