I am a research specialist working with doctors to find the cure for Lupus. I also worked as an engineer for General Motors Asia-Australia division to optimize GM’s carbon footprint in Asia.
♦Biomedical Engineer and Scientist working with MD/PhDs to find a cure for Lupus. ♦ I use PCR, qPCR, ELISA and ANA to advance immunology standard of care and develop new gene therapies. ♦ I published two papers as first author in April 2019 at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Medicine Conference and 2018 Department of Immunology Annual Retreat.
♦ I performed pharmaceutical research on diabetes medication with doctors at Allegheny General Hospital. ♦ My worked included observing surgeries inside the operating room, such as use of robotic surgical tools. ♦ I performed western blot, Ames test, DNA assays and PCR to advance our pharmaceutical project.
♦ Taught Python programming and laboratory skill to undergraduate students at Carnegie Mellon University. ♦ Developed laboratory protocols under guidance of the engineering professor.
♦ I worked for the Seoul headquarters vice-president to minimize the carbon footprint of our auto plants in China, SE Asia and Australia. ♦ I ran the Asia-Australia region energy managements system and worked directly with international plant managers in South Korea, China and Australia. ♦ I trained multinational plant managers on energy management and environmental compliance best practices.
