Information Technology Project Management Office (IT PMO) - Delivery Coordinator for TAFE NSW, Australia's leading vocational education and training provider with over 100 years of experience. In this role, I represented the purpose of the Systems Group Delivery Office: to serve as a “Second Line of Defence” for the Systems Group Portfolio through fit-for-purpose delivery guidance, project controls, and quality standards to Project Managers, Sponsors and Executives. RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and sustain business partner relationship with Project Managers to collaboratively achieve TAFE NSW strategic objectives through delivery of Digital (ICT) projects • Establish, embed and continuously improve project management policies, procedures, and standards based on industry best practice and lessons learned • Conduct regular and thorough assurance reviews of projects through audits and health checks ACHIEVEMENTS • Led one-year capability uplift project to mature the organisation's project assurance practices, ensuring alignment between ePMO and IT PMO standards • Optimised the standard IT project framework by defining key project artefacts and controls to effectively account for business needs, government regulations and governance requirements in project delivery • Implemented the "Governance Risk Profile Tool" to evaluate, prioritise and qualify requests for IT work and projects based on standard criteria (i.e., strategic importance, risk complexity, financial value) • Introduced stage gate reviews for IT projects, establishing critical criteria to evaluate a project's readiness to proceed to the next stage • Co-designed the Tri-Focus Service Delivery Model with the Director Systems Group Delivery, Change Manager, and other PMO staff, enhancing our ability to deliver PMO services at scale to our customers. This model incorporated three key elements: 1) Business Partner Relationship, 2) Service Ticket Management, and 3) Capability Uplift.
Project Portfolio Analyst for Hummingbird Solutions, an innovative, modern Australian company with over 30 years of expert knowledge delivering business benefits through Project Portfolio Management (PPM). RESPONSIBILITIES • Collaborate with internal agile teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Hummingbird's Project Portfolio Management (PPM) services • Design, implement and continuously improve portfolio governance processes to assist clients in prioritising and managing new demands • Assess incoming project requests, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, feasibility, and resource availability • Establish, track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects to evaluate their success and make data-driven recommendations for improvement • Design and conduct end-to-end training programs to educate specific user groups on project portfolio management policies, tools and best practices ACHIEVEMENTS • Implemented enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) service and Changepoint PPM platform for our flagship government client, enhancing visibility and transparency regarding project progress, performance, and status in a previous state of limited visibility • Co-led one year implementation of the client's ePMO, followed by a three-month Service Transition project to ensure a seamless and effective handover of the ePMO • Delivered face-to-face and virtual training sessions to over 20 experienced Project Managers and Senior Leaders on Changepoint PPM platform
Kicked off my career in business and technology in Fujitsu 2021 Graduate Program; rotated across different departments and teams. Project Coordinator • Supported Capability Manager and Organisational Change Manager to develop a change and communications strategy under $175M IT Services Contract • Developed standard processes to support complex, industry partner structure between Fujitsu, Department of Defence and its industry partners • Redesigned end-to-end onboarding process of New Starters on a major client-facing account; reducing time to onboard by 2 weeks Resource Coordinator - Infrastructure Services Portfolio • Enterprise Resource Management of over 700 resources in the Infrastructure Services Portfolio • Managed allocation of resources on internal and customer projects to meet schedule and skill requirements • Collaborated with hiring managers, project leaders and talent acquisition to proactively identify staffing vacancies, determine the requirement for additional resources and reallocate staff to meet forecasted customer volume and overall requirements HR Business Projects • Collaborated with UX Designer and Head of HR Delivery to understand, analyse and present findings to enhance end-to-end onboarding process at Fujitsu • Responsible for roll out of Global Employee Engagement Survey to 2600+ employees across the Oceania region, including communications planning, data analysis and reports to the Executive Leadership Team Ad hoc Graduate Assignments • Collaborated with internal communications team & Australian TV Presenter, Richard Reid, in rolling out employee engagement initiative 'Awesome August' which involved external speakers, photo and video competitions and social events • Creation of Go-to-Market strategy for Fujitsu resourcing model under guidance of Head of Workforce Management • Developed an interactive Graduate Learning Journey, consisting of videos, books and short courses, aligned with 'Future of Work' skills
