At the intersection of technical operations and risk management lies a core responsibility: to deliver reliable, high-integrity outcomes that serve patients, partners, and the broader global community. Guided by J&J's Credo, I lead a global team that is responsible for strengthening J&J's core technical operations and risk management capabilities. As Executive Vice President, Chief Technical Operations & Risk Officer for Johnson & Johnson, and a member of the Company’s Executive Committee, I lead key technical operations functions including: Engineering & Property Services, Sustainability and cross-sector Supply Chain teams focused on standards, services, global trade, and strategic programs and policies. I also oversee critical risk functions including: Quality & Compliance, Health Care Compliance, Global Security, Global Brand Protection, and our Enterprise Risk Management program. As a strong developer of partnerships, I play an important role with external public and private industry stakeholders to advance critical risk management, resilience and technical operations priorities on behalf of Johnson & Johnson and the healthcare industry. Most recently, I served for nine years as Executive Vice President and Chief Global Supply Chain Officer, and prior to that, as the Company’s first Chief Quality Officer. Under my leadership, Johnson & Johnson has maintained a top five position on the Supply Chain Top 25 list by Gartner, Inc. – a ranking that recognizes the critical role our Supply Chain plays as an integrator across an ecosystem of internal and external partners. Externally from Johnson & Johnson, I serve as Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Manufacturers in the U.S.; member of the Board of Directors at one of the world’s leading diagnostic companies: Labcorp; Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s COO/CSCO/CPO global community; member and prior Chair of the GS1 Global Management Board; and member of Gartner’s Supply Chain Executive Advisory Board. In 2019 I was honored with CSCMP’s Lifetime Achievement Award and inducted into the Supply Chain Hall of Fame.
