SEA ME has developed reusable and recyclable packaging for personal & home care products, circulating in a deposit based reuse system called 'zerooo' while using existing take-back retail infrastructure, and offers it as a service to other brands that look for sustainable alternatives to their single-use packaging. I had the opportunity to support the SEA ME team and its circularity vision with • leading 2 year funded RnD project in cooperation with circular resource experts of the CREM institute (Hamburg Technical University). • developing innovative reusable and recyclable plastic packaging solution from prototype to market launch and reuse system for personal & home care products and to start of serial production. • Involving stakeholder groups along the reuse system value chain, i.a. brands, retail, drugstores, plastic packaging producers, cleaning services, recyclers. • Interpretation of life-cycle assessment by CREM experts following ISO standard reviewed by external critical review panel

At the same time creating opportunities for exchange between producer and consumer, to listen and learn about realities and demands of each other. All serving a deeper understanding, validation and support for food that nourishes us and the people who produce it.
Assisting blattfrisch - producer of nourishing organic meals to-go - in the switch from single-use packaging to reusable packaging. Building a network and alliances with other businesses and institutions using or developing reusable packaging. Working together on finding sustainable solutions and the development of necessary infrastructure (take-back, transport, cleaning, redistributing) in order to push forward a sustainable ecosystem for reusable packaging ("Mehrweg-Ökosystem").
